Today's high quality requirements for
vessels used in pharmaceutical applications cannot be achieved
any more by manual polishing techniques.
In order to be able to supply this specific
clientele also in future with our quality products, or even
with higher quality, we purchased a semi-automatic tank head
and cone polishing machine in spring 1999. With the polishing
unit made to fit our requirements, tank heads of up to 6 meters
in diameter can be grinded and polished inside as well as
outside .
During the entire system planning process
our focus was not only on quality, but also on our craftsmen
operating this machine.
Besides the general safety-relevant
mechanisms, we installed a dust vacuuming device applying
the latest technical know-how. With a vacuuming capacity of
approximately 6000 m³ / hour the abrasive dust is sucked
off right at the sanding belt.
