Like any other manufacturer, our company has to handle liquids, which might become hazardous for the environment.

However, as a responsible corporate citizen, BOLZ / EDEL collects all the industrial waste water centrally in an internal neutralization system. At the slightest irregularity, all possible drains are automatically closed and an alarm is activated.

The neutralization system essentially consists of special containers to collect, treat and thicken the waste water. Furthermore a lime milk system with attached containers and a filter press are installed. The solid materials are separated from this filter press and disposed of as special waste.

All process cycles in this system, which has a weekly neutralization performance of 5000 litres of nitrate, acid and alkaline water, are automatically controlled and continuously logged by multiple-dotting recorders.

Of course the operation of such a system requires the certification by the trade supervisory board, and the system is subject to continuous monitoring. Waste water checks by the NTA in Isny (scientific technical academy Professor Dr. Gruebler) and by the manufacturer of the system are additional regulations to prevent any environmental impact or water pollution.

Altogether a high expenditure of time and costs, to which we feel obligated with regard to the people and to our environment.
